* Okay, back to the most adorable DLC.
* Melia is an elegant sort of cute!
* How many nopons can we get on the screen at once? Let’s find out!
* Oh, Dennis. you’re still too tough.
* I stare into the distance, thinking wistfully of Final Fantasy 14, but… no.
* Covered In Bats, it’s pretty awesome, and maybe slightly rabid.
* …I really want to know how a bat story even gets blue.
* IT’S DENNIS TIME
* Okay that’s a pretty good bat story.
* There is a weird paucity of men’s names! It’s that whole thing where girls can have boy names (because it’s cool and strong!) but if a name is associated with girls it’s embarassing for boys, so there’s a weird sort of attrition.
* QUIET MOMENT. HAVE IT. HAVE IT NOW.
* I sort of miss the choices in these conversations, but it makes sense that they wouldn’t have those anymore if they’re all fully voiced.
* It’s nice to see the capital like this. At a distance. Where we can’t see everyone turned into monsters.
* Let’s all be sad now, but in a thoughtful way!
* They would probably wish not to be turned into telethia–but, hey!
* Look at those helpful guard rails to say not to walk right off the road–oh. Huh. You’re right. They’re showing where things used to be walkable.
* Oh no, a sleep eater! Destroy it before it eats any more of mine!
* Huh. But if it’s her half-sister, wouldn’t that sister be a half on the wrong side, for the imperial bloodline stuff? Well, maybe not.
* Remember when we helped small enthusiastic children here? Before everyone turned into horrible monsters and attacked anyone nearby who wasn’t one?
* Hole in sky seldom good, Nene.
* There are kids still /alive/ in here? Really?
* Or was that just a high-pitched nopon?
* Huh. There is indeed a child still alive. But also that looks bad. And weird. But bad.
* It indeed covered in black fluffy mist, kids.
* It’s a pity they can’t see the monster names, or they’d know this isn’t the fog king.
* The rift is… shooting lasers. That seems bad.
* Okay that’s a lot more King Of Fog right there.
* Winghead is right! You can’t hit it with that!
* We tried! Now let’s go get more levels before trying again!
* Yeah, why /were/ you in there anyway? Also, what’s his weird halo hairpiece thing?
* Why the hell is a small child the one leading the research project here anyway?
* I think Gael’gar was all “Go smite telethia, they’re horrible, yay!”
* With Nopons, it’s usually something edible, so maybe he wants, like, edibles.
* …Drydry is trying to make a great hat to hang out with the High Entia so… sure. Sure. Why not.
* UNION STRIKE
* How… do you make a nopon really tense, anyway?
* I wonder if the vicejaw antol is expected to step in if the jaw antol is unable to perform its duties.
* HI, Laffaelle! You’re not voiced, so you must not be very important. But we’ll help you anyway. We’re nice that way.
* You’re not passive-aggressive, you’re bantering!
* They… they are heeding the heck out of your call.
* Yay we stockpiled food.
* That is a much better looking jacket. The hoo is… huh. I’m not sure. I think I need to see it as part of a look.
* Some of those boots are something. Like he’s going to murder things with his kneecaps.
* Coming back a day or two later, I am still on this episode, because it is looooong.
* Yay, let’s spoil someone’s fun!
* Ah, Xen’s thoroughfare! …I wonder who Xen is.
* Hi, Lavean! …ID tag? I hope it’s not–oh yeah it totally belongs to a dead relative, huh.
* You are noponing the /heck/ out of that fight.
* It is so hard to understand what htey’re saying when they’re all speaking out of sync, but it’s still charming.
* That poor PSP. It had some good games, but… it was not a great console.
* I totally would’ve started the game in casual mode, it’s true. As I did with XC2!
* Oo, yes, get the bangle from the dead guy for his brother!
* Great, now the surveyors are just giving you riddles.
* Investigating the ecology by murdering it is very Victorian.
* Man we’re finding a lot of things this dude once wore. If we run into a naked High Entia man hiding in a bush, I… honestly I would respect that.
* Pororo! …why does that name sound familiar?
* That Nopon needs you, but it doesn’t need you that level gap much.
* Ghosts are a great concern to many dogs. And cats.
* Stealth the heck out of this with your cool dark hood and those eighteen yellow potatoes.
* Every relationship needs a tank, a healer, and someone for DPS. General buffs also welcome, and maybe some crowd control.
* Shulk has excellent hair, it’s true.
* HI JANE
* Tyrea, you’re doing good things, but you’re still a jerk.
* I would question your outfit choices, too, but… I gesture vaguely at Sharla.
* She was… murderous, yes.
* Anyway, we’re all gonna move on! Moving on from the murder these days!
* Gael’gar, still creepy.
* Okay, Melia, have you considered a constitutional socialist collective form of government?
* Yessss have a special moment.
* “So, my stepmother had an illegitimate secret child who believed she was better on account of being pure-blooded but turned out to actually be of mixed blood, and she tried to kill me a few times, starting when–are you taking notes?”
* “Well, you see, our shared brother turned into a monster and–look, kid, it’s complicated.”
* That seems hard, Nene. Maybe we could just text each other cat memes for a few years, see how it goes.
* Hello, fellow humans! We are here on a peaceful mission! The eight-year-old gave us a letter of reference!
* Wow, actual farms. I thought people in this world lived entirely on monster parts and random weird things they picked up when running through the wildnerness.
* GASP. CHIEF WUNWUN
* Oh, so those are actually wings! …I always just thought they were big prehensile ears. I guess head wings are a whole Thing around here.
* Melia, how can you not appreciate that Armu?
* Hey, the Bionis stabbed first! Way back in prehistory, admittedly. It’s no wonder folks forgot. I’m not sure we actually ever told them, come to think of it…
* Anyway, let’s just say that a single year has not quite calmed all the tensions between various people.
* “Because they look cool” is the best idea to buy any piece of clothing in a game.
* The pants work once you put the boots on. It’s silly and pointy and I rather like it.
* There will be so many people who need you to fix their petty and/or huge problems for them around here.
